Learn how our nurses put the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Forces of Magnetism into action

As a Magnet Hospital, we have adopted the Forces of Magnetism. They are expectations for leadership, policies and programs, resources, care improvement and more in nursing. These are foundation, the principles that guide our care for patients. Less than 4 percent of hospitals in the country meet these standards, and therefore have received the Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. We are the only hospital in the Lehigh Valley to hold this designation.

We are a “magnet” for nurses, because we support and reward outstanding practice. And, we are a “magnet” for patients. They are our highest priority and motivation and inspiration behind our successes, like those outlined in our clinical services annual report.
